HI,
I have recently connect a new Wi-Fi 6 AX201 modem and I have some cameras which use the 2.4 settings, however this modem appears to be set at 2.5 and 5, as 2.4 is the standard is there a way to enable or have this setting show up on my wifi so my cameras can connect to the wifi?
Thanks

Hello Kylied,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
I'll try my best to address the issue with your Wi-Fi 6 AX201 modem and connecting your cameras that use the 2.4 GHz band. You can try the following steps:
- Access your modem's settings through its web interface. You can usually do this by entering the modem's IP address into a web browser. Look for the wireless settings section.
- Ensure that the 2.4 GHz band is enabled. Some modems allow you to enable or disable specific frequency bands. If it's disabled, enable it and save the changes.
- If your modem supports it, you can set different SSIDs (network names) for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. This can help you identify and connect your cameras specifically to the 2.4 GHz network.
- Check if there is a firmware update available for your modem. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues and improve compatibility.
- Refer to the modem's user manual for specific instructions on managing frequency bands and settings.
- If you're unable to find the option to enable the 2.4 GHz band, consider reaching out to the modem manufacturer's support for assistance.
By following these steps, you should be able to enable the 2.4 GHz band and connect your cameras to the Wi-Fi network.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.
