Does anyone have a new laptop with the Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE200 card installed and if so how does it work with a Tp-Link ax5400 Pro router? I'm not ready to make a move and buy a new Wi-Fi7 router yet but am looking for a new laptop an will probably upgrade and customize it with the Wi-Fi 7 card.

Hello Jammers,
The TP-Link AX5400 Pro router is designed to support Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology, while the Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE200 card is based on the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard.
While the AX5400 Pro router does not support Wi-Fi 7, the Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE200 card is backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards, including Wi-Fi 6. This means that the Wi-Fi 7 card should work with the AX5400 Pro router, but you won't be able to take full advantage of the Wi-Fi 7 features until you upgrade to a Wi-Fi 7 router.
In summary, the TP-Link AX5400 Pro router is compatible with the Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE200 card, but the connection will operate based on the Wi-Fi 6 capabilities of the router.
Moreover, I suggest reaching out to the laptop manufacturer before upgrading your wireless card, as there may be regulatory issues to consider.
