Hey everyone.
About a couple of months ago I bought a WiFi Link 5300 to replace the 5100 that came with my laptop. It's great, but every once in awhile I'll start getting serious packet loss - anywhere from 15-40%. This will continue until I either restart the laptop or disable/reenable the card in Device Manager (which makes me think it's not hardware).
Here's a sample ping test I did a few minutes ago to my gateway:
Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:

Check your power managment settings for the network adapter.
Set it to maximum (best performance).
See if that helps

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem, and sometime it is over 90% packet loss.
It is only on one of my computers the problem appears, so i feel quite confused about the fact that restarting the router do solve the problem in a short time.
Do anyone have any idea ?
Br Daniel
