WiFi not working after upgrade to AC 7260

Hey guys. I upgraded my Asus K53SD (X53S) laptop from Intel Centrino N-100 to Intel DualBand Wireless AC 7260 card.

Windows 10 64bit

The problem is that the WiFi doesn't work. Bluetooth works pretty good.

I already have latest drivers, i tried also with raccomanded driver but nothing.

I tried to do a factory reset on Windows 10 without success.

The only way to make the WiFi work again is to use Ubuntu 18.04, somehow works without drivers.

What can I do?

same answer. Read the documents I have posted. As for the others, call them lucky.

You cannot simply change/replace your wireless adapter without consulting with ASUS.

Try downloading an older driver (older than 18.33.x.x) from MS update catalog here: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=ac-7260

Worked for myself and others. Leave comment if it worked or not.
