I bought an Intel Wireless-AC 9260 adapter for my ThinkPad (A485) because it seemed from the https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005511/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html Linux* Support for Intel® Wireless Adapters website, that it would work as of Kernel 4.14. While the WLAN worked flawlessly out of the box, the bluetooth part of that adapter is not recognized by my Arch Linux installation with Kernel 4.18.12.
Let me give you some further information on the issue.
Edit: Removed additional info since adapter may not be installed aftermarket at least in the US. Threw it to the trash then.
Best regards,
Chris
