Hello EdwardJackson,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.

  1. Can you further explain the exact issue?
  2. What is the model of your wireless controller since I cannot see it in the SSU logs.
  3. Did you manually install the wireless card or is it embedded on the system?
  4. Was it working fine before?
  5. What was the mast change made in the system before the issue started?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Best regards,

Hello Mike_Intel,

Thank you for replying to my question.

I have installed a dual-boot system on my Redmi Book Pro 14 2025 laptop (the laptop came with Windows 11 pre-installed, and I added Ubuntu as a secondary OS). I’ve tried multiple Ubuntu versions — 22.04, 20.04, and even 24.04 — but none of them are able to connect to Wi-Fi.

My original wireless card was an Intel AX203, and I even tried replacing it with an AX211, but both resulted in the same error:

[ 1136.599749] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: minimum version required: iwlwifi-bz-a0-hr-b0-80
[ 1136.599750] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: maximum version supported: iwlwifi-bz-a0-hr-b0-86

Both wireless cards work perfectly fine under Windows, but when I switch to Ubuntu, no Wi-Fi interface appears. I’ve tried many solutions found online, but none of them worked, which has been very frustrating.

Eventually, I gave up on dual-booting and switched to running Ubuntu in a VMware virtual machine under Windows. This setup meets my basic needs for now, but I still hope to be able to use Ubuntu directly on my laptop in the future.

If you’re able to help me resolve this issue, I would be extremely grateful!

Best wishes,
Edward Jackson
