Hello Jed G.

Thank you for your advice.

I have been already using the recent driver (23.160.0.9) and my Intel DSA identifies it as the most recent version.

I will wait for the update of the bluetooth driver of my dynabook and smartphone.

Hello tensui,

I'm writing to provide you with an update. After checking internally, I would like you to try the steps below and see if it'll help with the situation.

1. Unpair the Dynabook system from the smartphone

2. Perform a clean installation of the Intel Wireless and Bluetooth driver - 23.160.0,

If the issue continues even after unpairing the Dynabook system and performing a clean installation, please let me know so we can work together to identify any possible underlying causes.

Hello tensui,

I'm reaching out to further isolate the issue which would help in identifying the root cause of the issue. Kindly see below.

1. Test a different smartphone with the current computer to check Bluetooth functionality.

2. Test the current smartphone with a different computer or laptop that has Bluetooth capability.

If you were able to perform these tests, kindly share the following information:

  • System configurations used during each test.
  • Screenshots of Device Manager, specifically the Properties > Driver tab for the Bluetooth device.

I look forward to your response.

Hi Jed G.,

I automatically installed new version of bluetooth driver(23.170.0.3) today, however, it still didn't work. It connects and then immediately drops. I do not have another smartphone, so I cannot try your advice. I tested another computer(with same bluetooth driver of my dynabook), but it didn't work. I don't have any other computers with other drivers.

Thank you for all your cooperation. I wait for the update of bluetooth driver of my smartphone(I bought a USB card adapter to read my "mynumber card" by my computer instead of using bluetooth of my smartphone).

Tensui

Hello tensui,

I wanted to kindly confirm whether you were able to install the OEM drivers from this link before moving to the Intel Generic Driver. This detail will really help us determine whether the issue is driver-related or if we need to look into other possibilities.

Hi Jed G.,

A few days ago, my Dynabook automatically installed a new update of system, but my smartphone and Dynabook are still not connected. The Intel DSA also says "An error occurred while scanning," and I can't find the new Intel driver. I no longer need to connect my smartphone and Dynabook, so I'd like to end our conversation here.

Best regards,

Tensui

Thank you for keeping me updated throughout this process, I truly appreciate your effort. I’m sorry we weren’t able to fully resolve the issue this time. It also seems you’re experiencing a separate problem with Intel Driver & Support Assistant. To make sure we address that properly, I recommend creating a new thread for it.

For now, I’ll go ahead and close this inquiry. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to submit a new inquiry, as this thread will no longer be monitored.
