Can proset profile(s) be removed or moved up in the profile list using a script? Or security settings for specific script be changed from a script.

Thnx,

Hello KB,

We will check further on your inquiry regarding command line. For now, we would like to mention that profiles can be imported using Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software, as noted in the following advisory:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000007145.html Import Wireless Profiles Using Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software

Also, please elaborate on the goal you are trying to achieve, and if you have tried using the method mentioned in the previous document.

Hello KB,

We received confirmation that Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software does not include a remote command to delete or modify existing profiles. You can find the commands available for Silent installs in the following document:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005730.html Silent Installation of Wireless Components for Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software Version 15.6.0

In this case, you would need to Uninstall the PROset/Wireless software, then the Wireless driver; after that, you would be able to install a new driver package and the profiles that you require.
