intel my wifi network adaptor no longer on my laptop

I have a dell laptop that uses intel my wifi network adaptor that seems to have magically vanished off my computer completely so now I cannot connect to the internet via wifi at all and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to download the adaptor driver thing at all? what do I do to fix this?
