i have an issue with my wireless network
Intel Dual Band AC-7260 on Lenovo T440s laptop with latest windows 10 and latest intel drivers 20.10.2
there is a lag on performance it suddenly stop receiving or sending data then after few minutes it works again

2. Did the issue start after a recent update, or has your connection always presented issues?
3. Please share a report generated using the Intel® System Support Utility.

2. Making sure that you're connected to your WiFi, scan "everything."

While some sporadic ping spikes are normal due to the way WiFi works, numbers in the thousands are too high. This could be caused by a number of external factors.
To begin, we noticed that your connection rate is low for the AC7260. This could be caused by your current setup.
You're currently connecting to your Wireless-N router though channel 1 of the 2.4 GHz frequency. The 2.4 GHz band is fairly narrow and can be crowded as many household electronics generate waves in this frequency. Single band 802.11n legacy routers are specially susceptible to wireless interference.
Our main recommendation here will be to upgrade to an 802.11ac capable wireless router, which should increase your connection rate (speed at which your PC and router communicate, not to be confused with download speeds which don't account for network overhead) from 130 Mbps to 433 Mbps in the 2.4 band, or up to 867 Mbps if you switch to the 5 GHz band.
A higher transmit rate will result in your connection to be less affected by interference even if you remain in the 2.4 GHz band. When your connection rate is low, lagging and disconnections can be a result of your connection rate being temporarily lowered by some source of interference.
If this is not an option, we can recommend the following changes to your https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005585/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html advanced adapter settings for increased compatibility with 802.11n:
1. Go to Device Manager > Network Adapters > Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 > Properties > Advanced tab
2. HT Mode: Set to HT Mode (HT = 802.11n, VHT = 802.11ac).
3. Wireless Mode: 6. 802.11a/b/g
You can also try manually selecting a different channel for your network, this is set through your wireless router.
