"adapter state not found in registry'' error when U click on the Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection in device manager.

Computer:Latitude D-610 Dell

OS: Windows XP SP3

When I mouse over the white fan icon by the clock (right lower corner) "No supported Wifi Adapter available in the system".

I cannot even disable the Wifi in the Network Connections.
