On Minnowboard Turbot (E3826) -
1. Flash latest firmware from https://software.intel.com/sites/default/files/managed/e5/fb/minnowboard-max-rel-1-01-firmware-images.zip (MSYS\MNW2MAX1.X64.0101.R01.1908071815.bin)
2. Follow https://github.com/tianocore/edk2-platforms/blob/master/Platform/Intel/Vlv2TbltDevicePkg/Readme.md build the Capsule ROMs.
3. Boot into internal UEFI shell, and execute "CapsuleApp.efi Red.0.0.0.18.cap Green.0.0.0.34.cap Blue.0.0.0.20.cap Minnow.0.0.0.12.cap"
Capsule doesn't reboot automatically, but shows "CapsuleApp: failed to query capsule capability - Invalid Parameter".
The error seems come from https://github.com/tianocore/edk2/blob/master/MdeModulePkg/Application/CapsuleApp/CapsuleApp.c#L940 that query firmware fail.
Is Capsule on MInnowboard Turbot requires specific firmware, not the one publish on the page? Or any suggestions to resolve the error?

Thank you, @CarlosAM_INTEL ,
But the default firmware are provided by Intel and seems failed while query its capability of Capsule. It should be fair to check with Intel if default firmware has issue in Capsule supporting vs. EDK2 master tree?
I will also see if Minnowboard.org can provide the support for Intel firmware.

Hello, @ymhuang:
Thanks for your reply.
You should request the proper firmware and received support related to it through the manufacturer of the affected device.
This is the reason to give the suggestions stated in our previous communication.

Thank you, @CarlosAM_INTEL
The default firmware is exactly the link from Intel page in my very first post. I also consider contact manufacturer of the firmware for the support since it appears default firmware seems has issue with Capsule.
Unfortunately, it seems I misunderstand something here that Intel request to contact Minnowboard.org for the firmware which is provided on Intel page. Perhaps, Intel is not the one manufacture the default firmware, but Minnowboard.org is?
Anyway, I already submit this issue to Minnowboard.org. If it happen Intel indeed is the one create the default firmware, and know why it has issue in querying of Capsule capability, it will be appreciated that Intel can provide the support or direction here.

ymhuang
