I purchased a perpetual intel fortran compiler in 2012. My old machine is retiring so I have to reinstall it in a new machine. I have contacted Intel and provided my license serial number. My impression was since its perpetual, they would just give me a new key or license file. Instead, I've been told, I have to purchase a new license. For other perpetual licenses in that machine, software companies were able to locate me with my name and company email and just sent me a new key although the platforms' capability increased significantly, in these 12 years. I'm a bit surprised, is there any work around, please let me know.
