Need Assistance Renewing Intel Parallel Studio XE 2019

Hello everyone,

I'm encountering an issue with my Intel Fortran Compiler under Intel Parallel Studio XE 2019 (Student Edition), and I'm seeking guidance on how to resolve it.

After a period of not using the compiler, I recently attempted to compile a program and encountered the following error message:

Error: A license for Comp-FL is not available now (-15,570,115).

A connection to the license server could not be made. You should
make sure that your license daemon process is running: both an
lmgrd process and an INTEL process should be running
if your license limits you to a specified number of licenses in use
at a time. Also, check to see if the wrong port@host or the wrong
license file is being used, or if the port or hostname in the license
file has changed.

License file(s) used were (in this order):
** 1. /gpfs/compiler/intel/2019/compilers_and_libraries_2019.4.243/linux/licenses/COM_L___G5NV-7KG6RL6T.lic
** 2. /opt/intel/licenses/USE_SERVER.lic
** 3. /gpfs/home/csxia/intel/licenses
** 4. /gpfs/compiler/intel/2019/compilers_and_libraries_2019.4.243/linux/bin/intel64/../../Licenses
** 5. /gpfs/home/csxia/Licenses
** 6. /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses
** 7. /gpfs/compiler/intel/2019/compilers_and_libraries_2019.4.243/linux/bin/intel64/*.lic

ifort: error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license

It appears that my license may have expired, and I'm unsure of how to proceed with renewing it. I've checked the Intel website and documentation but haven't found a clear solution yet.

I'd really value any guidance or steps you can provide for renewing my Intel Parallel Studio XE 2019 license. I'm eager to keep using the Intel Fortran Compiler within this package, as switching to a new compiler and recompiling programs would take up a lot of time.

Thank you all for your help and insights.

Hi Poh Heng, Intel® has decided that Intel Parallel Studio XE, All Editions, All Versions are not supported anymore. We urge users to upgrade to the latest version of Intel® developer tools. The unsupported versions do not include the latest functional and security updates. These versions are targeted to be removed after a period. We understand that this might be challenging, but it's important to note that the users with active priority support can only access older product versions.

For more information refer to the link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/release-notes/oneapi-supported-product-versions.htm, and scroll down to the Unsupported Product Version.

Intel® oneAPI users with active Intel Priority Support can access older versions via a secure portal you gain access to as part of your support subscription.
