Parallel Studio --InstallerCache directory multiple GBs in size

Hello community:

On installing Intel Parallel Studio, the size of `C:\ProgramData\Intel\InstallerCache` is multiple GBs in size and it does not seem to be used/changed since it was installed.

Example image from running `WinDirStat` below:

 

Is it safe to delete this folder to save on some space without affecting the functionality of Parallel Studio otherwise?

Hi, we would recommend you to not delete any folder manually as it may result in installation issues later.

We would suggest you to uninstall the Intel® Parallel Studio XE suite first from Control Panel. That should remove the necessary folders of the installation. Post that, if you find any remnants of the installation, feel free to remove them manually by deleting them.

Once you are satisfied with the space created, re-install the Intel® Parallel Studio XE suite back again.
