Intel Core i5-12600 (12th generation)
Windows10
Intel UHD Graphics 770

I would like to install OneVPL on a computer with the above conditions.

What are the minimum steps required?
Which Git should I use and in what order?

Also, how can I check that OneVPL is installed on my PC?

MediaSDK is not installed.

Hi ナオト ミハラ, please follow the steps given in the below link to install the Intel® oneAPI Video Processing Library:

Intel® oneAPI Video Processing Library Installation Guide

Please find current and future updates on our GitHub site: oneVPL Change Log. You can click here for the System Requirements.

You can check the "Programs and Features" or "Apps and Features" section in the Control Panel to see if Intel® OneVPL is listed as an installed program.

Do you have any further questions about Windows installation of VPL?

I added a post on the forum about downloads that you might find helpful: https://community.intel.com/t5/Media-Intel-Video-Processing/Intel-VPL-New-Home-on-GitHub-API-Reference-and-Download-Links/m-p/1560904#M15188

Thank you for your advice.

Currently, I have installed OneVPL environment using Runtime written on the following page.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/tool/oneapi-standalone-components.html#inpage-nav-8-9
"IntelR Video Processing Library Runtime for Windows*" under "Current Releases (various)"

I am trying "hello-decode" on the following page to confirm the environment built above.
https://github.com/intel/libvpl/tree/master/examples/api2x/hello-decode

So here's a question.
Steps to run "hello-decode"
Building the hello-decode Program
On a Windows* System Using Visual Studio* Version 2017 or Newer
It says Follow the steps in install.md to install IntelR VPL package.
Is this method to check the OneVPL environment that was built and installed from source?
Is it possible to check the environment of OneVPL installed with Runtime using this method?

Please tell me how to check OneVPL installed with Runtime using hello-decode.
・Can I skip installing OneVPL from source?
・Which directory should I specify for "Set up your environment using the following command."

please.
