Hi,
I am doing a project on DE2 board using VHDL. the project now is at level where I need to establish connection between PC and DE2 board using USB port. I searched for material related to USB device on DE2 board (specialy related to VHDL) but couldn't find much. number of threads on other side suggests to use NIOSII processor but the problem is I am using web edition of quartusII 8.1 I tried opening project in SOPC builder but I couldn't see any option for SOPC builder in my Quartus edition. My questions are is SOPC builder available with free web edition of quartus? if yes how can i get it or why its not showing it in my quartus s/w? if not how can I approach for USB connection Can any one please help me with VHDL code or any tutorial/example explaining how to use and code for USB ISP1362 device using VHDL? your suggestions will help me a lot Thanks Kuldeep GoswamiLink Copied

Hello,
Here is an example project, which configures 2 USB Bulk Endpoints in VHDL - enabling USB communication with the DE2 board without the NIOS II processor: http://mzakharo.github.com/usb-de2-fpga/ Hope this helps, Mikhail- Mark as New
