Setting design partitions and logiclock regions can make significant improvements to your run time by only recompiling the blocks that have changed.
Also the compilation time advisor will be able to recommend settings that will improve run time.- Mark as New

Using smart compilation will also improve run time (refer to Assignments>Settings>Compilation Process Settings.)
