Hi,

I'm attempting to install the Quartus II Linux version (free web edition) in RHEL6. As expected, I was kicked-out of the install script before completing the installation. Anyone ever try to run the Quartus II software in RHEL6? If so, what are the tricks to getting it to install correctly? Am I being a littel too adventurous here?

Thanks.

REL6 should be similar to Fedora 12, try searching the forum for Fedora install workarounds

can you paste the output of the installer here?

Right on. I just saw your thread in regards to deleting libX11.so.6 and running ./setup. Installation worked like a dream and the tools appear to be running fine in RHEL6.0. I'll post another message if I have any further problems.

Cheers.

cool, that's about what i expected. it will probably take another release until REL6.0 is officially supported (in which case the libX11.so.6 issue should get fixed!)

Did you try V10.1? It may work without having to worry about the libX11.so.
