Daniel C. Rodriguez is corporate vice president and general manager of the Network Platforms Group at Intel Corporation. He is responsible for the Intel business group that delivers innovative technologies and solutions to the networking industry. He is also the executive co-sponsor for Intel’s edge computing strategy.
Rodriguez leads a global organization to drive the transformation of network and edge to Intel-based solutions. This is one of the fastest growing businesses in Intel’s Data Platforms Group, enabling Intel to be a market leader in network and edge infrastructure, as well as in 5G.
Before assuming his current role, he was the general manager of Data Center Group’s network compute division that drives transformation of network infrastructure strategy and delivers Intel-based products to support the networks of the future. His organization was responsible for providing innovative networking products and solutions based on workload convergence on Intel architecture. These solutions support network transformation in the wireless infrastructure, wireline, enterprise and cloud networking.
Rodriguez holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University and earned his MBA degree from the University of Southern California.
