Hello,

I've purchased a floating license for VTune and received the serial number. I install the Vtunes on one of my server and would like to set up a licensing server. When I start the FLEXIm it asks me for the .lic file. Where should I get it? I only havethe serial number...

Thank you an advance for your help.

Hello,
You should be able to go https://registrationcenter.intel.comto get your license file. Register your serial number and you will receive a license file in your email.
Thanks,
Shannon

I would add, that when you register you can also add two backup servers and all you need is the host name and ID of the servers. Below is a link to the FlexLM users guide >>> ftp://download.intel.com/support/performancetools/licenseMgr4FLEXlm.pdf
