How to call VTune API's in fortran?

How can I call the Vtune api's in fortran? I only find documentation on how to do it in C/C++.

This is not a VTune APIs specific issue. I'm not the expertin Fortran, but I found it should not be difficult to do - please seearticle, Calling a routine in a DLL from Fortran
