LLC miss

Dear All,

I run my job and would like to get the information of "Last Level Cache( LLC)  miss" on Intel Xeon E5-2690(SandyBridge) using Intel VTune Amplifier XE 2016

When I got the information of LLC miss, the value was zero. I wonder if VTune didi not work normally.

According to https://software.intel.com/sites/default/files/article/380498/using-intel-vtune-amplifier-xe-on-xeon-e5-family-1.0.pdf,

"LLC miss" on SandyBridge is calculated by the following formula.

(MEM_LOAD_UOPS_MISC_RETIRED.LLC_MISS_PS * 210) / CPU_CLK_UNHALTED.THREAD

I got the information of LLC miss using the following command.

% amplxe-cl -c general-exploration "my job"

When VTune put, I did NOT find out the event count "MEM_LOAD_UOPS_MISC_RETIRED.LLC_MISS_PS", but I found out "MEM_LOAD_UOPS_RETIRED.LLC_MISS".

So I wonder if I did not get the information of "LLC" miss on SandyBridge.

In order to get the information on SandyBridge using VTune, could you let me know what I should do ?

Sincerely yours,
