Hi,
I am trying to run the Intel Inspector from a VM in a chrooted environment. After few minor issues , I was able to launch the Inspector to attach it to my application.
But I am getting an error :
Intel Inspector XE 2011 license check failed
Your license file is unavailable for undetermined reasons. The error code is `-76'.
Just wondering if someone can give some pointers.
Regards,
-J

Hi,
Where do you have the license file placed? What Virtual Operating System are you running Intel Inspector XE 2011 on? (Windows or Linux?)
If it is Windows, it should be in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\Licenses
If it is Linux, it should be in /opt/intel/licenses/
Please kindly let me know how the product is trying to acquire a license and I can help you further.
Also, since you say it is an evaluation copy, it could be the case that you are past the evaluation period.
Thanks,
Krishna
