Locks and Waits Capture Failing

Hello,

I'm unable to capture in Locks and Waits mode. Hotspots works fine.

Quickly after pressing the Start button, the capture is aborted and the following error is printed to the Collection Log.

Data collection is completed successfully
    10/23/2017 3:58:24 PM  The result file 'C:\Users\Joseph\Documents\Amplifier XE\Projects\assethash\r011lw\r011lw.amplxe' is successfully created and added to the project assethash. 

Finalizing results
    Cannot load data file `C:\Users\Joseph\Documents\Amplifier XE\Projects\assethash\r011lw\data.0\26924-27908.0.trace' (Data file is corrupted).
    Cannot load data file `C:\Users\Joseph\Documents\Amplifier XE\Projects\assethash\r011lw\data.0\userapicollector-27908-8c4db16e.trace' (Data file is corrupted).
    Saving the result
    Progressed 100%

I'm using Intel VTune Amplifier XE 2017 Update 1 (build 486011). What other information should I provide to help diagnose?

Hi Joseph,

please provide your failed result. Currently it seems on a crash during collection and it will be very helpful if you could catch it and save a dump file.
