Hi,

Thanks for the immediate response. In your initial screenshot we could see Docker during the finalization. Are you using any of the containers? If yes could you please share with us the details?

Thanks

Rahul

Hi Karan,

I'm clarifying with developers the requirement to have kernel 4.1 and higher for profiling in a Docker container. For now please consider to use Centos* 8 or profile natively.

Thanks!

Hi Karan,

I got information from developers: this is expected behavior. For the Docker container Process ID mapping they use functionality which is available for Linux kernel 4.1 and higher. We will update VTune Profiler documentation.

Thanks!
