Unable to run vtune, Error in sampling collector - Error code - 53

Hi

I am trying to run lightweight-hotspots analysis on my application. The application is a windows service.

I understood that only "lightweight-hotspots" analysis can be ran as when trying to run "hotspots" I recieved "Access denied" error.

I am attaching the the process and running the tool using command line.

This is the output that is produced:

Error: Failed to create tb6 file because 0 samples were collected.
2> Error in sampling collector. Err
2> or code - 53

OS is Windows XP SP3, running off a VMWare 7

Analysis types based on hardware sampling will not work inside a VM.
