I am running an evaluation of VTune 9.0. As part of the install this seems to have added a "Tuning Browser" to my Visual Studio 2005 environment. The presence of this "Tuning Browser" has the effect of dramatically slowing down how long it takes to load my project. Like seconds to a minute. This is a real big pain.
How do I get rid of this add-in?

Go to Add/Remove Programs, select the VTune Performance Analyzer and press the Change button. Then, select Modify and press Next. On the Custom Setup screen, choose to NOT make the integration feature available. Complete wizard.

Ok, it was stupid... For VTune 8.0 you will find the option on the wizard's "Ready to Modify the Program" step, not at the "Custom Setup" page ...but which is probably exactly what Mr. Anderson told us. Thank you! And sorry for the quick post. Martin
