Hello Varad ,
I tried to boil down the issue to some code causing it, but have not been successful. What I am quite sure about is that it is a threading issue of some kind, but it would probably take me days of work to really trace it down, and I don't have this time currently. I found the actual problem that I was looking for without the profiler, so the urgency has decreased.
Windows version:
Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 22H2
Installed 29.07.2021
OS build 19045.3086
Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19041.1000.0
VTune Profiler 2022.4.1 or VTune Profiler 2020 (both show the same problem)
For the moment, I am unable to give more information. If in the future I can spare more time, I will try to trace down the actual call that causes the assertions.
Would be even better if you were able to find the problem with the information I gave you.
Thanks a lot
Jens

Hello Jens,
It’s great to know that you’ve found the actual problem! I can understand that it would have surely reduced the urgency of this issue.
Unfortunately, since we aren’t able to reproduce the issue, we’d need a sample reproducer and other details that we’ve asked earlier in order to move forward. We’d also need to know if the issue reproduces in the latest version of VTune . I understand that currently you are engaged in other priorities and hence unable to spend time and efforts on this. So, at this point of time, we’d close this issue and whenever you are free to work on this particular issue, please post your query in a new thread with the information and a sample reproducer and we’d be happy to help you.
Thank You!
Regards,
Varad
