Is VTune compatible with the RedHat Linux 3.0 AS Beta 2 release on Itanium? Thanks

In a word, no, jctran. Here is the supported list, right out of the release notes (as of OCT 14, 2003, the date of this reply).

Itanium Processor Linux* Distributions supported:

1) SuSE* Linux* Enterprise Server 8.0 (kernel-2.4.19-4GBup or 2.4.19-64GBsmp, glibc-2.2.5-164, libstdc++ 3.2-45, glib-1.2.10-326)

2) Red Hat* Enterprise Linux* AS 2.1

3) Red Hat* Enterprise Linux* WS 2.1
