Hello,
I have been using the VTune analysis tool without any issues, but after a recent computer crash and restart, it stopped working. When I run the executable file, the console flashes briefly, and the collection log screen appears as follows:
After using the command amplxe-sepreg.exe -s, I found the message vtss service... FAILED.
Is there any way to resolve this issue?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,

Windows 11 Family Chinese version 23H2. I reinstalled the oneapi base toolkit and rebooted the computer, but the Vtune Profiler problem persisted.
However, I have been using it normally for a week without any problems, and it is the same operation using the same components.
What is your Windows build? Did you confirm that the Windows OS version and build number before and after are exactly the same?
You can use the self-check utility to check your current environment.
My computer is Windows 11 Family Chinese version 23H2 build 22631.3085 and has not been connected to the Internet and the update history shows that no updates have been installed.
I can't run the Intel Vtune Profiler on my device, but I can run the Intel Advisor. Does Intel Advisor have timeline view?
For CPU profiling, Intel Advisor only supports threading, vectorization and roofline. For GPU profiling, roofline and offload are supported . But there is no timeline.
For details, you can refer to the user guide:
