I was trying to attach to a MFC 32-bit program by pid on windows server 2008 with VTune Amplifier XE 2013. Then i got this:
[Instrumentation Engine]: Failed to allocate Injector, Error = INJECTOR_ERR_FAILED_TO_CREATE_REMOTE_THREAD
Please help me on this:) Thank you in advance!

yes, that's the thread I raised before. And the workarounds doesn't work this out. My situation now is :
1.I'm using Administrator user, starting the target program and attaching to the target program.
2.I've turned off User Account Control.
Please help me on this:)

if you are "starting the target program", is there some reason you can't have VTune Amplifier start the program? Mostly I want to know if it fails even when VTune Amplifier launches the app? If so there is a bigger issue.

@MrAnderson (Intel), I've successfully launches the app with Vtune and collected information I need. Although it's not the perfect method for a server-type app, I could do more to filter the result and add some prefix to make it work. Thank you anyway:)
