I'm using a non-commercial licence (or trying to).
I have compiled some fortran code with -diag-enable sc3
When I try and open the result file in inspxe-gui i get the error

"You do not have a valid license for static security analysis

The license is unavailable. Make sure that your license file contains the license for the requested feature. If your license requires a license server, make sure that the server is using the right license file, and you have not changed the license file since starting the server."

Hi Tracy,

SSA is only available to users of Intel Parallel Studio XE 2011 or Intel C++ Studio XE 2011. In other words, you need to have a license ofone of these suites.

For more details.
SSA page: http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/static-security-analysis/
SSA Requirements: http://software.intel.com/sites/products/documentation/hpc/inspectorxe/en-us/lin/ug_docs/olh/common/static_about_ssa_intel.htm

Thanks,
Feilong

I used to be able to run SSA using a earlier(ivf11.1) version of the compiler than I use now (Intel Visual Fortran Compiler XE 12.0.3.175 [Intel 64]...); I am a bit surprised I now get the same message as Tracy mention above.

I also have Inspector 2011 XE and Ampllifier 2011 XE running, and I did have Intel Parallel Studio (maybe not XE) but did not find it useful for Fortran at that time. Will the studio be included in this or is there yet another other license to upgrade to?

What can I do in the Studio XE that Inspector 2011 XE and Ampllifier 2011 XE do not let me do, other than SSA?

Regards,
Magnus
