which events should i choose to sample the program to get the information?

vTune help should give you the necessary info. have a look under the Contents tab ( Vtune Performance Environment -> vTune Performance Analyzer -> Reference -> Processor Events and Advice -> Intel Pentium M Processors -> Events for Intel Pentium M Processors ).
