Hi Syinx,
Thank you for posting in the community.
To further investigate this situation for this issue, I would like to ask some question to pinpoint the appropriate resolution fit to your issue. Could you help me answer the following questions below:
- When you say it does not displaying anything, can you share more about the things you want to display?
- Can you share the graphics driver you're currently using?
- Also, besides Unreal Engine, has this issue occurred with any other applications? If yes, could you please specify which ones?
- Have you tried clean installation of graphics driver?
I am looking forward hearing from you.
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.

Hi Dhanniel M,
Thank u for responding to my question.
Arc a770 support path trace in ue5 , I need light to render in real time,i can use lumen, but path trace don't display.
I updated many driver versions of graphics that didn't work, and my Settings in Unreal Engine about path trace were all right,
I queried the Unreal documentation and it showed that the problem was that there was no authorization from ARC.
In this picture them it show path trace but non.
Best regards,
Syinx.

Hi Syinx,
Thank you for letting me know about this, just to confirm you have enabled the ray tracing on your project, set the Default RHI to Directx 12, and enable the path tracing on Hardware Ray Tracing in the project setting? If not, could you please try doing it and once you have done it restart the Unreal Engine. Please see below images for your reference:
If the issue still persist, can you try opening a new project after you did the following steps above, and enable the ray tracing on project default then check if the path tracing will be visible on the new project. Please see the attach image for your reference:
Let me know what will be the outcome of this troubleshooting, I am looking forward hearing from you.
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.

Hi Dhanniel M,
Thank u for responding to my question.
I am set the Default RHI to Directx 12, and enable the path tracing on Hardware Ray Tracing in the project setting.
I set all set is right. Maybe ARC In the game, path tracing is supported, but it cannot be used in Unreal Engine 5 for rendering.
This is the result of my processing,I am preparing to replace my graphics card with an NVIDIA card for my rendering work.
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Syinx.

Hi Syinx,
As the issue still persist, let me raise this to our Engineers to see what other options we can explore to resolve this issue. Also, while at it could you try creating a new project dummy to act as an experiment and enable the ray tracing on project default as I mentioned before. To test if the path tracing will be visible on the new project.
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.

Hi Dhanniel M,
Thank you for patiently responding to the problem I encountered.
I reopened many projects and started path tracing.
I have tried different versions of Unreal Engine, including 4.7, 5.3, and 5.4, but path tracking does not display on the Arc A770 graphics card.
Best regards,
Hi Syinx.

Hi Dhanniel M,
Thank you for answering my questions so positively, it makes me feel especially happy.
I am currently using my free time to develop some indie games, just to follow my dream of creating games. I'm also doing some rendering work, and Lumen's effects are sufficient. Path tracing offers more detail. Thank you again for your support.
Best regards,
Hi Syinx.

Hello @Syinx and thank you for reaching out Intel Indie Game Developer Support!
I'm already downloading both versions 5.1 and 5.4 in a couple systems at the lab with A770 and with Intel Core Ultra + Arc Graphics
I'll debug to see what's going on with the path tracing option.
Question, could you share your SSU? So I can see your system specs + it is necessary if we need to report this behavior internally.
Also, have you identified if the option was available before? Or if it is not available anymore with the latest drivers?
If you have a project you can share, just to make sure we're seeing the same options, that would be fantastic
Thanks a lot
Karen
