Hi All!
I'm a newcomer to Smart Edge Open and currently trying to deploy Smart Edge on a server.
I'm following the approach of burning a USB on the provisioning system and then deploying it to the target system.
The official guide I'm referencing is as follows:
However, during deployment on the target system, while running the installation process on uOS, I encountered an issue.
"AttributeError: module 'importlib_metadata' has no attribute 'EntryPoints'
make: *** [Makefile:12: install-dependencies] Error 1"
After rebooting into the system, I tried running the following command inside /opt/seo :
$sudo pipenv run ./deploy.py and encounter the same error.
Here is my target system's spec:
- Intel Xeon Silver 4210R*2
- 64 GB RAM
- 1TB SSD
Here is my provisioning system's environmet:
- Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS Desktop
- Python 3.8
- Docker 28.1.1
- Docker-compose 2.24.6
I'm currently stuck at this point. Could anyone advise me on how to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance for your help!
