Hi,
I'm using I210-IT in my design, Its a PCIe v2.1 device. But I want to interface it with PCIe switch 89HPES4T4G2ZCALGI and PCIe Clock buffer 9DB803DGILFT both are PCIe 2.0 devices.
So will this interfacing between PCIe 2,0 and PCIe 2.1 devices will work ?
Is I210-IT is compatible with PCIe v2.0 ?
Is I210-IT is compatible with PCIe switch and clock buffer mentioned above ?
Please help me ASAP.
Thanks & Regards,
Nanjunda M

Hi Nanjunda,
The speed of PCIe 2.1 is the same as PCIe 2.0 and also the signals looks the same. We are also using the I210-IT together with the PCIe clock buffer 9DB433 and this works fine. The 9DB803 should also work.
Best Regards,
Patrick
