D-2100 integrated 10GbE controller - external PHYs

Platform Design Guide of D-2100 on page 676 shows 3 (three) external PHY devices.

There is a note:

These are the only Intel tested and supported external PHYs. Contact an Intel
representative if the designer would like to use other external PHYs.

 

maybe there is somebody here who tested some other external PHYs. I am especially interested in LRM/ER.
