Hi ,

We are using I210 -IS for one of our application.

I am facing issue while programming the EEPROM.I have installed the EEUPDATE Tool and connected the LAN Cable from the board to my PC. When i am running the EEUPDATE command i am not able to see the adapter which is connected

.What should be the expected Device ID .Do i need to do any other configuration.?

Do we need to install the Ethernet device driver before flashing the EEPROM?

I have connected my board which has I210 IS to SFP to Ethernet converter and then i have connected it to PC which is installed with EEUPDATE . please let me know if i am going wrong somwhere as i am new to this thing

If there is any doc which can guide me step wise kindly forward me

Thanks,

Chandan

Hi Maecenas,

Thanks for the reply.

For our product the first LAN Chip what we used is 82572EI Controller. Due to the Obsolescence this chip we redesigned to I210

Now for 82572EI Controller, is there any driver support for Windows 10 OS . When i checked in website i could not find it.Windows 7 looks to be the last one

Please let me know the driver details that is compatible to 82572EI Controller on Windows 10 Platform

Hi @CarlosAM_INTEL.

We have validated our product software with the JL82572EI Ethernet s/w driver for i210 Ethernet controller. This has worked for us.

All i need is just a confirmation/suggestion for us to use JL82572EI Ethernet s/w driver which is compatible with i210 Ethernet controller in a mail so that we will prefer to use JL82572EI Ethernet s/w driver instead of updating it to i210 Ethernet s/w driver.

Please do the needful

Regards

Chandan
