But LAN isn't working. Do you happen to know why and do you know what I should do?
I don't have network access, the network is said to be unknown (Network and sharing centre).
Thank you for the help.

Hello MocnikGrega
What version of Windows are you using?
Have you tried the Troubleshoot Problems option of Windows?
Have you installed any new software before you started to have issues with the connectivity?
Have you tried to connect the computer using other Ethernet cable or have you tested the Ethernet connection in other computer?
Are you using DHCP to connect to the network or you have to configure the Networks Parameters manually?
Best regards,
Adolfo

Hello MocnikGrega
Are you using a MinnowBoard or a MinnowBoard Max?
Please elaborate more about the output from the Windows Troubleshooting Utility. If you could post a screenshot, and a complete translations would be better.
Could you please try to configure manually the network parameters in the Minnowboard instead of the router?
Best Regards,
Adolfo.

Hello MocnikGrega
As you can check in the MinnowBoard technical specification: http://www.minnowboard.org/technical-features/ http://www.minnowboard.org/technical-features/ The only operative system that they support is Ångström Linux Distribution.
If you check the specifications from the https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/queens-bay/atom-e6xx-embedded-computing-brief.html Atom™ E6XX series Platform Brief, on page 3, you can see that Windows 8 is not a supported Operative System
Also I can't see any EG20T driver for Windows 8 in the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&keyword=eg20t Intel Download Center, could you please clarify from which website did you downloaded the driver?
I would recommend that you use the Ångström Linux Distribution, that is the one suggested by the Minnowboard website. Or at least one of the Operative Systems supported in the product brief.

I installed Windows 8 because I saw the link here and I installed at this pdf
http://www.elinux.org/Minnowboard:Minnow_Original Minnowboard:Minnow Original - eLinux.org
http://files.minnowboard.org/pdfs/Installing%20Windows%20on%20the%20MinnowBoard.pdf http://files.minnowboard.org/pdfs/Installing%20Windows%20on%20the%20MinnowBoard.pdf
I would like using Minnowboard as medicenter, on minnow I would like run VLC player and download movies etc.
I'am Windows user and I would like install on minnow Windows, beacuse I don't know about linux distribution and I don't know Installed
application (VLC player etc.) over Linux distribution - Angstrom.

Hello MocnikGrega
In this case please try the follow suggestions in this order:
1) With the Ethernet cable connected to the Minnowboard go to the CMD window and issue the following commands:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
2) Manually configure the network parameters on the Minnowboard
IP 192.168.1.131
Mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
(Don't forget to remove the static IP option from your router to avoid conflict)
3) Try to use the Windows 8.1 Inbox Ethernet Driver instead of the Intel Ethernet Driver.
Disconnect your Ethernet cable.
Go to the Device Manager, look into the network adapters, find your network adapter right-click on it and select the Uninstall option.
Reboot your system and connect the Ethernet cable
Wait to see if it recognizes the Ethernet interface
I hope you find this information useful
Best Regards,
Adolfo
