Please help ...
Currently , our ATOM-E3845 or E3800 series of BayTrail Processor at HsUART Port can 't work properly at RX receive .
However, the TX can transmit properly due to Peer-to-Peer of RS232 Crossfire test by TX only.
We follow up the Intel ASL document and driver to support it .
Also, The Loopback of RS232 is only work at TX , but RX fail .
DFI suspected on FIFO of HsUART is setting that might not match of IIR register .
Does there have any comment on IIR_UART Register or RX of HsUART workaround available ?
DFI used Term-App for Peer to Peer of Crossfire RS-232 (TX-RX signals only without RTS/CTS).
TX work , but RX fail .
DFI used Passmark BIT for COM-Port Loopback , RX only recieve bytes , and then be terminated by FIFO .
Configuration:
OS |
Windows 10 x64 _Build 1607 or Build 1809 |
Driver |
UART-IO Controller Driver version: 01/05/2017, 5.1.3.1010 |
SUB-Device UART-COM Driver version : 09/26/2018, 123.1.5.1008 |
|
CPU: |
BayTrail E3800 series model or BayTrail E3845 |

Dear Carlo
By your highlight , the Baytrail doesn't support Win10 x64 OS in list .
Does HsUART work properly under WinEmbedded 8, 7?
I will try it under WinEmbedded 8 or 7 for HsUART function..

Hello, @DennisChen0109:
Thanks for your reply
Please let us know the results with the Operating systems that you mentioned.
By the way, we want to address the following question to better understand the reported situation:
Could you please let us know if the design related to this situation has been developed by you or by a third-party company?
Could you please give us the information of the affected system (such as the manufacturer, part number, model, and where we can find its information)?
Could you please list the sources used to develop the affected system?
We are waiting for your clarification.
Best regards,

HI, Carlos
About these questions , I answered it .
(1) Could you please let us know if the design related to this situation has been developed by you or by a third-party company?
Ans: The design of BayTrail Module board is deleloping by DFI Corporation , and 3rd Party is using to assemble their fully system .
There is link of product information what is designing by DFI : BT700 | Intel Atom E3800 | Bay Trail | Qseven | DFI
(2) Could you please give us the information of the affected system :
- Manufacturer : DFI Corporation
- Part Number : 770-BT7004-D00G
- Model : BT700-T40-E45
- BT700 | Intel Atom E3800 | Bay Trail | Qseven | DFI
(3) Could you please list the sources used to develop the affected system?
DFI H/W RD engineer is designing the BT700 Module board , and Firmware of BIOS Engineer is built the workable BIOS to support it .
Now, DFI faced the HsUART function can't be working properly under Win10 OS .
Moreover , there have ASL code of HsUART sub-device driver document what Intel official document
DFI faced the HsUART at TX signals works , but RX signals fail what FIFO has been terminated RX function .
Does any idea suggest for why FIFO terminate RX function of HsUART in support ? Relate to Interrupt in setting on BIOS or driver ?
Best Regards

Dear Carlos
Thanks from your help ...
DFI did the verification test by using the E3800 series for SIO driver version " 1.1.5.1006" what released at 8/24/2014 .
It can work with Putty of communication Application under Win10-x64 OS successfully.

So, You can close it cause related to Intel HsUART driver in support .
Thanks a lot .
Best Regards
