Hi Everyone,
I designed a box PC using Conga SA7 with Intel® Atom® x6425E processor SMARC 2.1 module. The PC has 10 port GbE output and expected to operate as a managable ethernet switch. As mentioned in the Conga SA7 datasheet a custom BIOS needed to convert 4x1 PCIe root complex to 1x4 PCIe root complex. Therefore I demanded the related BIOS binary file and flashed it to the ROM. However PEX8619 PCIe switch(configured as x4x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1) that I used to obtain 10 endpoint output for operating PCIe to GbE phy ICs LAN7430 is not working in Windows 10 pro (I couldn't see the PCI to PCI bridge or something like that in the device manager tree ).
If windows 10 can't see the PCIe switch in device manager then I also can't operate 10 port GbE outputs because the root complex of the CPU accesses the PCIe to GbE ICs via PCIe switch.
Is there anybody who has already used a PCIe switch and had an issue like this before? Could anyone give an advise how to solve this problem?
