Hi all,
I'm taking a look at Little Bay CRB schematics for Atom E6xx CPU.
I need to understand how the CPLD works (Altera EPM570 on page 23 of version 3.0 of schematics) and what functionalities it implements.
I'm going to design a deep embedded E6xx-based system and I would like to remove all unnecessary stuff. For this reason, if possible, I would replace CPLD with simpler devices
In my understanding it acts as embedded controller but, since no specific documentation is available, I can just speculate about it.
Is it possible to have CPLD project source code?
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrea

Hello, Andrea:
Wecome to the Intel® Embedded Community. It appears the source code might be available from the Intel® Embedded Design Center.

This package provides the source code (verilog RTL files) for the system management controller (SMC) CPLD for Little Bay Fab D/Fab E boards.
Here is the link: http://edc.intel.com/Link.aspx?id=3888&wapkw=(little+bay http://edc.intel.com/Link.aspx?id=3888&wapkw=(little+bay)
I hope this helps.
