BSOD IntcAudioBus.sys

Hello All,

I am really hoping someone can help me please? On a number of devices I am seeing multiple BSOD relating to IntcAudioBus.sys which is linked to the Intel Smart Sound Technology SST Audio Controller (Dev Man\System Devices). I have tried updating drivers, Windows updates but with no success. The manufacturer of the tablet has provided the latest drivers they have too.

How do I attach the minidump file please?

Many thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

Hello Carlos,

Thank you for your reply,

The processor is Intel Atom E3940 @1.6Ghz.

If I understand you correctly the manufacturer is Zebra technologies and the device is an ET5x range device ET5x Tablet Computer Series | Zebra

The BSOD minidump is available here if required https://www.dropbox.com/s/wm6cgq7tf9r8e67/070621-21843-01.dmp?dl=0

I hope that helps,

Thank you

Hello Carlos,

Thank you. I have tried this route but so far been unsuccessful, hence why I am here on the Intel site as the BSOD root cause is Intel related.

Appreciate manufacturers like Zebra have a responsibility however I was hoping Intel could help too,

Many Thanks

Steve

Hello, @SLHSbox:

Thanks for your reply.

We can provide generic drivers that may help you but they should be verified by the manufacturer of the third-party device.

You should use the tool mentioned on the following website:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

You must request the proper drivers from the manufacturer of the affected device.

Best regards,
