Braswell N3010 power sequence problem

Hi,

I have a question about N3010 power sequence.

We power up the system without BIOS code, the PMIC is TPS650842 from TI. I check the voltage rail and sequence by scope, every rail is right. But after PMIC pull up VCCAPWROK & COREPWROK, the N3010 didn't pull up PLTRST(SLP_S3_N already pulled up by N3010). Is it no BIOS code cause this problem?

thanks,

Kevin

Hello KevinChen29,

Thank you for contacting the Intel Embedded Community.

It is important to let you know that the Power Management IC (PMIC) provides all power and clock supplies as well as system power management control. This information and more details are stated as a reference in sections The Power Management IC Concept and The Power Management IC Goals; on pages from 6 to 13 of http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/white-papers/atom-e6xx-power-management-ic-paper.pdf the Power Management IC for the Intel(R) Atom(TM) Processor E6xx Series and Intel(R) Platform Controller Hub EG20T White Paper.

Due to this fact, the cited situation is related to the PMIC.

We hope that this information is useful.

Best Regards,
