Do you know what http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/intelligent-system-extended-modular-board-design.html Intel® ISX actually is? It's a way to speed development time with the flexibility of modular board design. There is a myriad of possibilities to take advantage of ISX. I am actually interested as to why you find ISX intriguing and how it would benefit you personally.
Currently we (Intel) has 2 development kits available (there will be more soon). Here is http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/evaluation-platforms/core-i5-4400e-qm87-development-kit.html one to get you started!
What compelling device will you develop more quickly using modular board design?
How do the development kits fit into the overall picture of the Internet of Things (Iot)? If you have any questions about ISX, please let me know.

Hi, Olaf! I wanted to provide more information on the development kits that help speed time to market with 4th generation Intel® Core™ processor performance in a 4x4 form factor. Both use the QM87 chipset but one is based on the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/evaluation-platforms/core-i5-4400e-qm87-development-kit.html Core i5-4400E processor and the other is based on the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/evaluation-platforms/core-i3-4100e-qm87-development-kit.html Core i3-4100E processor.
Learn more about http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/intelligent-system-extended-modular-board-design.html Intel ISX or read more about http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/shark-bay/4th-generation-core-qm87-hm86-chipsets.html 4th Gen processors paired with QM87 chipset.
Olaf is our ISX expert and is ready to answer any questions you may have about modular board design or the development kits. Just "reply" to this thread!

Hi Steven,
Please stay tuned as we are only just getting started
Sometime next week I expect our Valley Island (Atom-based) ISX platforms become available on the EDC (edc.intel.com)
I am excited that we finally enable everybody with design experience to design with Intel architecture. It will be interesting to see what kind of designs folks will come up with. As you may know, all pertinent information about http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/intelligent-system-extended-modular-board-design.html Intel® ISX can be found on edc.intel.com.
We also have a strong roadmap which means more platforms are going to follow!

Hi Greg,
You bet I can
Most information is available on https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/embedded-design-center.html https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/embedded-design-center.html
This is the EDC landing page from which you can navigate anywhere to obtain collateral, driver, software and other pertinent information.
For most of the information you will require 'Privileged Access'. This information can be identified by a little padlock. You must register as a privileged user to access this information. Just click on the padlock and you will be redirected accordingly.
To finally answer your question. Yes, Valley Island has launched. Here is the EDC link:
https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/evaluation-platforms/atom-e3825-isx-development-kit.html https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/evaluation-platforms/atom-e3825-isx-development-kit.html
This platform is based on the E3825. Another Valley Island based on the E3815 will be launching imminently.

Hello,
I am looking looking for intel atom e3815 based customer reference board. where can I found BakerSport or bayland Bay or Valley View isX development kit. If Intel atom does not support these kits then kindly suggest third party development board based on Intel atom e3815. it should have xdp connector interface for debugging.
