The only difference between the cited devices is the operating temperature range. You can confirm this information in Tables Feature & Benefits and Order Codes, on page 4 of the https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/product-briefs/82574l-82574it-gbe-controller-brief.pdf Intel(R) 82574L and 82574IT Gigabit Ethernet Controllers Product Brief; and Table 6, on page 18 of the https://www.intel.com/content/dam/doc/datasheet/82574l-gbe-controller-datasheet.pdf Intel(R) 82574 GbE Controller Family Datasheet.

Due to this fact, the initialization information related to these devices is stated in section 4.0, on pages 62 through 82 of the 82574 Datasheet.
