Unable to access I2C Memory Mapped Registers.

In the datasheet for intel celeron processor we are able to observe two types of registers which are 1: MemoryMappedI/O registers

2: Memory Mapped registers

 

For example in some specific interfaces like SMBus has a MemoryMappedI/0 registers whereas I2C interface has Memory Mapped registers. Valid data was read from MemoryMappedI/O registers after configuring the IOSE bit in the SMBUS configuration register whereas incase of Memory Mapped registers invalid data(0xff) were read.

 

Is there any specific configuration to be enabled for memory mapped registers to read valid data.

Hi,

So the processor used was Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 4503UE 2GHz. We were able to read proper data after "Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power" in the power management tab was disabled. After disabling this option on reading back the memory mapped registers, valid default data was obtained.
