Hello,
I am running a Xeon W-11155MLE processor for a real-time application, so low latency is important requirement. However, I also require the processor to be in Turbo Mode with SpeedStep enabled for a steady CPU clock frequency.
I have found that TCC and Data Streams Optimizer in the BIOS interferes with the ability to enable SpeedStep. So I am looking to understand the implications of disabling TCC and Data Streams Optimizer. Ideally both settings would be enabled for low latency and steady CPU frequency.
Any way to get the best of both worlds?

Hello @victor20,
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
Regarding TCC in Tiger Lake, that is correct, it is not possible to have TCC and SpeedStep enabled.
Unfortunately TCC must be disabled to keep SpeedStep enabled, also, as I know, if SpeedStep is disabled, it may affect if you want to configure a scaling frequency too.
Best regards,
