Cannot Install Drivers. No Intel (R) Pro Adapters are present in this computer.

HI,

I am having a trouble with my PC. I not able to connect with Internet due to I accidently deleted network adapter from Windows 7, after that I formatted the system and reinstalled Window XP. Then I installing LAN driver, getting error " Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Pro Adapters are present in this computer."

Motherboard : Intel (R) Desktop Boards D946GZIS

Processer: Core 2 Duo

Please Help..

Hi Kunal,

Thank you for the post. Please help provide info below:

1) Are you referring to an onboard NIC on the D946GZIS mobo or a network adapter that can be plugged in and pull out?

2) If it is network adapter that can be plugged in and pull out, what is the exact model?

3) Please check under device manager->network adapter-> what is the entry appear there?
